KIIT Faculty Delivers Talk on Green Supply Chain Management
Dr. Sushanta Tripathy, Professor, KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering delivered a virtual talk titled “Significance of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM)” as chief guest at the KPR Institute of Engineering & Technology (KPRIET), Coimbatore on 5th October, 2021. Starting with a brief introduction of KIIT, he talked about the benefits of GSCM in mining industries, health sectors and computer peripheral industries. He also discussed the importance of ISTE for engineering students and faculties.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. M. Akila, Principal, KPRIET conveyed her gratitude to Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS for the the MoU signed between KIIT-DU and KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology. Dr. A. Sankara Subramanian, Principal, GRG Polytechnic College, Coimbatore and Chairman of ISTE, Tamil Nadu talked about the role of AI and digital technologies in manufacturing industries. Dr. M. Kathirvelu, Secretary Coordinator and Dr. J. Muralidharan also presented their talk during the session.
