KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering conducted its thirteenth talk under the ‘Alumni Talk Series’ on 31st August 2024 in collaboration with the KIIT Alumni Association. In this webinar, Dr. Subham Kamalesh Shah a KIIT alumnus of 2012 batch, presently working as Senior Lead projects at Ayaan Autonomous Systems Pvt Ltd., Pune, a leading robotic company presented his talk.
Dr. Shah delivered a talk on “Current trends in Robotics and automation”. He discussed the microcontroller/microprocessor used to control industrial robots. He has demonstrated a few of his works currently. He discussed about the futuristic robots as well. He expressed his interest in helping KIIT students excel in their future careers. He praised the Alumni Connect initiative, emphasizing its importance in enhancing both the personal and professional lives of alumni.
The talk followed a thorough question-answer session. Prof. Ruby Mishra, Prof. M. Ukkamanal, and Prof. B.C. Routray interacted with students and alumni. Few students also participated in the interactive session. This event is a stepping stone to more such sessions in the future, which will help bring together the student and alumni community for the University and the School. The session was coordinated and moderated by Prof. Prakash Ghose, Alumni Coordinator.
