KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering conducted an Alumni talk on 22nd March 2024. In this informative and interactive webinar, Mr. Braja Kishore Mishra a KIIT alumnus of 2015 batch, presently working as area manager sales and service, eastern zone in Hero motocorp, Bhubaneswar presented his talk along with his colleagues Mr. N. G. Yogesh, Technical training and service engineer, Hero motocorp, Bhubaneswar and Mr. Ashutosh Dhal, Service Engineer, Hero motocorp, Bhubaneswar.
They discussed about various sensors used in BS-VI engines. They also displayed the sensors physically along with an Off board diagnostic device. Moreover, they discussed about the Hero motocorp plants across the globes and their social responsibilities as well. The entire team is felicitated by the Dean School of Mechanical Engineering. Around 35 students are participated in this talk that made the event successful.
The talk followed a thorough question-answer session. Few students participated in the interactive session. This event is a stepping stone to more such sessions in the future, which will help bring together the student and alumni community for the University and the School. The session was coordinated and moderated by Prof. Isham Panigrahi, Dr. Akhilesh Dewangan and Prof. Prakash Ghose, Alumni Coordinator.
