In EY (Ernst & Young), Bengaluru is invited as guest and Tania Maity, a second year mechanical student hosted the entire podcast.
The alumna shared her experiences from her undergraduate days in mechanical engineering to her early career roles and the gradual transition into supply chain consulting. She discussed the relevance of core engineering fundamentals in solving real-world supply chain challenges, along with the importance of data analysis, problem-solving, and continuous upskilling. The conversation also highlighted her experiences as a woman professional in the corporate sector, the challenges faced during the campus-to-corporate transition, and the significance of adaptability and leadership. The session concluded with her advice to current students on long-term career planning, perseverance, and making informed professional choices.
