Prakash Ghose

Dr. Prakash Ghose began his professional journey as a project engineer at Predominant Engineers and Contractors Pvt. Ltd. in Gurgaon, Haryana, a consultancy specializing in small-scale steel plants, after obtaining his BTech from KITS Bhubaneswar (Now it is KIIT University). Following this, he pursued his MTech in Heat Power Engineering at UCE Burla (Now it is VSSUT, Burla)
Transitioning to academia, Dr. Ghose joined the faculty at the School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT University, in 2008. He further advanced his academic credentials by completing his PhD at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, where his research focused on the numerical simulation of spray combustion, taking into account soot formation and thermal radiation.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ghose has made significant contributions to his field, with numerous publications in esteemed international journals and conferences. He has guided many under graduated and post graduated projects. Three students are awarded with Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Dr. Prakash Ghose till now.
