Dr. Santosh Kumar Hotta has completed his Ph.D. from the School of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Guwahati in the year 2023 and M. Tech from the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the year 2013 with the specialization of Fluid and Thermal engineering. His doctoral research was mainly focused on optimizing the operating parameters of a biogas fueled spark ignition engine.He has published 10 international journals, authored more than 13 international and national conferences, published 5 book chapters and is a reviewer of the Journal of Renewable Energy and Fuel.He is having more than seven years of teaching and research experience. His broad areas of research are Fuel Based Engine Design and Modification, Combustion in CI and SI engine, GDI and HCCI Engines, Engine deposits, CNG, Biogas, Hydrogen, Ethanol, Methanol, Ammonia and other renewable or alternative fuels, Waste Heat Recovery, Drying Technology, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Thermo-Economic Analysis of Engineering Systems
