The School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT, hosted a series of impactful workshops during the Industry 5.0 Symposium, highlighting its commitment to preparing students for the future. The sessions focused on two key areas—Curriculum Transformation and Research Alignment. Discussions emphasized integrating human-centric skills and sustainability principles into the curriculum to develop truly future-ready graduates. In addition, the School collaborated with industry leaders to identify critical research areas for Industry 5.0, with a strong focus on smart automation and effective human–robot collaboration. This collective effort reaffirms SME’s dedication to excellence in engineering education and research, where technology seamlessly meets human innovation.
