KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering conducted their eighteenth talk under the ‘Alumni Talk Series’ on 1st November 2025 in collaboration with the KIIT Alumni Association. In this informative and interactive webinar, Mr. Malay Bepari a KIIT alumnus of 2024 batch, presently working as country manager in Maruti Suzuki India Prvt. Ltd., Delhi.
Mr. Malay Bepari delivered a talk on “Placement Preparedness Strategies for Final Year Students,” emphasizing the importance of strengthening core technical knowledge, improving communication and interpersonal skills, preparing a well-structured resume, and regularly practicing aptitude and interview questions. He also highlighted the need for researching prospective companies, understanding job roles, and maintaining a positive attitude and confidence throughout the placement process. The session aimed to guide students on systematic preparation to enhance their chances of success in campus placements. He conveyed their gratitude towards KIIT for their success. He praised this initiation of alumni connect and discussed its importance in professional and personal life of alumnus/alumna as well.
The talk followed a thorough question-answer session. Prof. Debjyoti Sahu and Prof. P. Chandrasekhar School of Mechanical Engineering participated in interaction. Few students also participated in the interactive session. This event is a stepping stone to more such sessions in the future, which will help bring together the student and alumni community for the University and the School. The session was coordinated and moderated by Prof. Prakash Ghose, Alumni Coordinator.
