Established in 1997, the KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering has become one of the most vital schools at KIIT, producing graduates who can meet the rapidly changing skill needs of the industry. The school aims to produce high-quality individuals with a keen and active interest in the frontier areas of mechanical engineering and provides specialized training in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics and Automobile Engineering.

The students here get a platform to showcase their talents to a global audience through foreign student exchange programs and internships, and a chance to upskill themselves in state-of-the-art laboratories for Research and Development. The school excels in student placements, research projects, collaborations, technology incubation and encouraging entrepreneurship.
