The School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, is proud to share that Mr. Soumyadeep Mondal, a sixth-semester B.Tech. Mechanical (Automobile) Engineering student, secured the Second Prize, along with a cash award, in the Smart Design CAD Contest at SRIC 2.0 – 2026, hosted by Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology, Visakhapatnam.
Organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with the ASME Vignan’s IIT Student Section, the competition showcased exceptional talent in engineering design and computer-aided design (CAD). Soumyadeep’s outstanding performance reflects his technical proficiency, creativity, and problem-solving skills in engineering design.
