Fluid Mechanics Laboratory

Fluid Mechanics laboratory aims at demonstrating the fundamental principles of fluid mechanics to the undergraduate students of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering students so that they can develop a sound understanding of the theoretical concepts . Further, few applications are also demonstrated. The experiments are chosen such that the entire subject of fluid mechanics is covered including topics from hydrostatics, kinematics and dynamics of fluids, flow measurement and different types of flowmeters, pipe flow, major and minor losses, vortex formation, flow through orifices etc.
