B. Surekha

Associate Professor

Dr. B. Surekha received her B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad-500085, India and M.Tech in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from National Institute of Technology, Warangal-506004, India in 2000 and 2003, respectively. She received her PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad-500085 in 2015. At present, she is working as an Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India-751024. She taught courses like Manufacturing Technology, Advanced manufacturing process, Materials Engineering, CNC & AC and Robotics for both undergraduate and graduate students. She got DST SERB sponsored funded research project in 2019. Her research interests include advanced casting methods, Functionally graded materials, modelling and simulation of manufacturing systems and soft computing. She has published about 50 technical papers.
