School of Mechanical Engineering conducted a One-Week online Short-Term Course on Efficient Green Hydrogen Storage and Transportation: Techniques and Innovations from 27th January – 1st February 2025.
Efficient green hydrogen storage and transportation remain critical challenges in the global shift toward sustainable energy. Addressing these complexities requires cutting-edge innovations and interdisciplinary collaboration. This course provided the participants with advanced insights into the latest breakthroughs in hydrogen confinement and movement, equipping educators and researchers to drive progress in this crucial field. The inaugural function of the program was conducted on 27th January at 11.00 AM. Chief speaker Mr Subasis Ray IPESS, PESO, Govt of India narrated the importance of green hydrogen and hazards during transportation. In other days renowned experts from industry, academia, and government organizations have shared their expertise, fostering knowledge exchange on novel hydrogen storage techniques, transport mechanisms, safety protocols, and emerging technologies. By empowering educators and researchers with these insights, the program contributes to accelerating the adoption of green hydrogen solutions and supporting the worldwide transition to clean energy.
