K-AEP 2026 featured an engaging knowledge-sharing session that brought together faculty members from the Schools of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Design to explore the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in engineering and industry.
The session included an insightful talk on “AI: Advancing Industry 4.0 to 6.0” by Dr. Satya Ranjan Dash and Dr. Sumit Kumar Tetarave from the School of Computer Applications, KIIT Deemed to be University. This was followed by an inspiring session on “AI in the Age of Agents” by Mr. Soumya Shekhar Dass, Tech Lead at Tata Elxsi. Together, the speakers provided valuable perspectives on how AI is driving industrial transformation, enabling intelligent automation, and shaping the future of next-generation engineering systems.
