Biography and academic profile

Dr. Diptikanta Das was graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in 1997, and received Doctoral Degree from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar in 2015. He has more than 24 years of teaching experience and currently, working as Associate Professor and Superintendent, Central Workshop in School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University. More than 100 technical articles in International Journals of repute and 1 patent (granted) are credited to him. He has supervised 11 Post-Graduate theses and 2 Ph.D. theses, and currently he is guiding 6 more Ph.D. theses. He has presented more than 30 Technical talks, Keynote speeches, Refresher courses, Short term training programs, Induction programs and has chaired many Technical sessions in various International conferences. His area of research includes fabrication and characterization of composite materials, hard machining, high speed machining, tribology, multi-criteria decision-making, optimization and simulation.
