Prof. (Dr.) P. C. Mishra is the Professor and Head, IPR Centre, KIIT-DU, Bhubaneswar, and Dean (Research), School of Mechanical Engineering. He earned his B.E. from Berhampur University and M.Tech. and Ph.D. from Jadavpur University. His research spans heat transfer, thermal system optimization, renewable and nuclear energy, nanofluidics, smart and biocompatible materials, with extensions to medical imaging and dental implants. He has published 200+ papers, authored 3 books, supervised 18 Ph.D.s, holds 35+ patents, secured ₹17 crore in funded projects, has an h-index of 33, and was listed among the top 2% scientists globally (2023) by Stanford University.
